Vilamoura gets a "Sketchy Crab" made of bicycles by Bordalo II

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the municipality and local administration.
The Mayor of Loulé, Vítor Aleixo, the President of the Parish Council of Quarteira , Telmo Pinto, the administrator of Inframoura, Cláudio Casimiro, and the CEO of Vilamoura World and Vilamoura Marina, Isolete Correia, among other guests, were present.
The piece, installed in the public space, was constructed from recycled materials such as iron, saddles, handlebars and bicycle parts.
Bordalo II thus once again uses "trash" to create a symbolic sculpture that raises awareness of environmental issues and the need for reuse.
Representing a crab, "Sketchy Crab" aims to be a visual metaphor for the cycle of waste and regeneration, inviting reflection on the human impact on the planet.
The installation of the work was promoted by Inframoura as part of the policy of sustainability and artistic appreciation of public space in Vilamoura.
